Did you know that once you or someone you live with are over 74 you are eligible to apply for the over 75 free licence for your household? However, this government funded scheme comes to an end on 1st June 2020. 

As it stands, those eligible can apply for their free TV licence but it will only be issued until 1st June, at which point users will need to pay for their TV licence. Find out how to apply under the current scheme on the TV licensing website

From 1 June 2020, there will be a new scheme. This new scheme means that anyone aged 75 or over who receives Pension Credit will still be eligible for a free TV Licence which the BBC will pay for. Find out more about this change on the TV licensing website
